Shwarma-Spiced Grilled Chicken with Garlic Yogurt Sauce

It’s been awhile since I blogged but I’m excited to get back on to share one of my favorite grilled chicken recipes. Skinny Taste is one of my go-to sites and I absolutely love this one. The chicken is so flavorful and tender, and the garlic yogurt gives it a rich acidic kick without the fat. Paired with grilled veggies, and boom it’s a complete low-carb meal! So easy and budget friendly too. It’s starting to warm up out there, so this would be the perfect backyard dish to whip up for a few folks or a group!

Orange BBQ Chicken and Quinoa Fried Rice

Enjoy the flavors of Chinese takeout orange chicken with American BBQ in this mouth-watering dish! I was inspired by the Neely’s Honey Orange BBQ Chicken for this recipe. The glaze is so good you’ll want to drink it haha. The chicken is most flavorful marinated overnight so remember to plan ahead. I also created a healthy take on fried rice using wholesome quinoa. You will not miss the rice! Grill this up for your family and friends this summer!

Spicy Cajun BBQ Shrimp and Cheesy Grits

I love the coziness, richness and spice of Southern comfort food. I was inspired by Downtown Disney’s Jazz Kitchen for this recipe. They serve up a mouthwatering BBQ shrimp dish over rich, luscious grits and I was determined to lighten it up so that I could enjoy it more often. I also added some healthy greens in there for extra vitamins. You can serve this up over my cheesy grits recipe or simply eat it with crusty bread for sopping up the sauce!
