Taco seasoning

Can I get a woop woop for making your own taco seasoning!?!?!?  Making your own is cheaper and waaaay more healthy because you control the ingredients (especially the amount of sodium)!

Ingredients (2TBS per 1 pound of beef):

  • 1 TBS chili powder
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp ground coriander
  • ½ tsp paprika (or smoked paprika, if you want an extra smoky flavor)
  • ½ -1 tsp kosher salt (depending on if you are watching your sodium intake)
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp cayenne
  • ¼ tsp dried oregano

Method:

  • Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container. Use 2 TBS per 1 pound of ground beef. Or sprinkle on chicken, steak, shrimp, or pork before BBQing/grilling.
